Finally I have my halo e-ring...

Hi Everyone,

Thought I would join the troops as I am a self confessed serial lurker and now have my own to stare at

Hopefully the photo comes out ok, can post close up pics if not. And DEF flower shots once the sun is out!

The centre stone is a 1ct Princess / F / VS2 with 48 surrounding RBs, all set in Platinum.

Please excuse the scary nails - it was halloween!

Thank you for all your lovely comments - wasn''t expecting so many! I had this ring custom made, but it still didn''t turn out to be exactly what I had imagined. I was after a more octagon look for the halo to get away from such a square... however, after a few weeks i actually love that it is in between the two (octago and sq)... I also wasn''t keen on the size of the prongs, but have got used to them too - and hey if they hold the diamond in place im not bothered!!
I would like to add a few more small diamonds around the base in the future (when FI has gotten over the initial purchase

I absolutely love the vintage look of my ring, not sure how I will go about a wedding band to match as don''t want the stone being too off-centre. Any ideas??
