My intended finally popped the question and presented me with the ring over Christmas. It''s really a treasure, and I''m excited to share it with the PS community. You guys have been instrumental in the buying and designing process, and I can''t thank you enough.
The Ring
I had tried on the Ritani Endless Love and really liked the thin band and the way the ring sits flush with wedding bands. Then I saw JadeLeaves'' set and fell in love with the basket design. I gave Mark a call, described what I wanted, and he delivered a beautiful piece. In real life, his work is much more delicate than it seems in photos. Most people don''t notice the heart prongs or the woven basket, but those are the kinds of details that make the ring special to me.
Mark was really a pleasure to work with. He was very patient with me, answering my many questions and giving me time to get comfortable with the design. (Being a very indecisive person, I was very nervous about giving him the final go ahead to make the ring.) From my conversations with him, it''s clear that he enjoys his work and takes a great deal of pride in it.
