Finally, my own ring to share pictures of

I was surprised with a Not so perfect proposal on Saturday. I knew the ring was here since we picked it out together, but he totally caught me off guard with his thoughtfully planned, painfully executed proposal

We''ve been working like crazy since though so we really haven''t had a chance to take decent pictures of it. We took a few quick ones today before we have to send it back to get it repaired (setting wasn''t made quite right).

These pictures really doesn''t do it justice and the bad indoor lighting certainly doesn''t help

It''s really quite beautiful in person and much more delicate than I expected from the pictures I''ve seen. I just love the rose gold, and the stone is shockingly beautiful and sparkles likes crazy.

Unfortunately no more pictures for awhile, as I''m shipping the ring back tomorrow and won''t be getting it back for a few weeks

While the setting is beautiful, it''s different from the original photo we ordered from. While it may not make a huge difference visually, since I plan on keeping this ring forever and do not plan on upgrading ever, we felt that it''s important to make sure everything is *just* right. I''m already so attached to it, I don''t know how I''ll let it go!

It''s a Beverly K setting and I got both the setting and stone through Pearlmans.

Thank you everyone. We both really wanted a ring that was JUST right for me and I didn''t want a ring that screamed engagement (I get really fidgety when I''m put in the spot light!

) I really love the rose gold and we''re both so so happy with our choice.

While we really love the ring, the small diamonds in the rose gold pedals should be just a tiny bit larger according to the photo on the website as well as other pictures I''ve seen. The difference is probably not that noticeable in real life, but we did notice it right away when we received the close up photo of the ring initially and we feel like we shouldn''t have any regrets. I''m super picky

My FI knows how bummed out I was for having to send it off so soon after I got it, so he so sweetly got me a beautiful gemstone ring so I can still wear something. So it ended up being not such a bad deal for me after all
