First off, thanks again to everyone for the advice that''s posted on this forum. I think i would have pulled all my hair out if not for the wisdom of the board.
Secondly, my proposal went great! we were in ATL for nye for the Peach bowl. We''re both alums of a school who played in the bowl.
That afternoon on the way to the GA dome, we took a walk through Olympic park and i sat her down near a fountian and gave her her real christmas gift: a tiffany charm bracelet with the "Marry Me" inscribed heart cham. She is in love with all things tiffany, and at first she didnt notice the inscription. I asked her to read it, and she kept asking over and over "are you serious?! are you SERIOUS?!"
I then got down on the knee and gave her some mumbo jumbo that neither of us even remember and busted out the ring box.
i think it took about 2 hours before it started to sink in with her.
Here are the stats:

"premium cut" (according to JA)
I-1 (although eye clean)
I had my reservations about the stats, but honestly, it looks better than i ever could have imagined.
please note that in these pics she''s wearing a gold jacket, and you kinda get some light reflection on the stone w/ that. I think you can barely get the slightest bit of yellowish in certian lights.
