Finally some photos of me in my dress! And, back on the shoe hunt...

My dress came in a couple weeks ago, and I finally got to go try it on today! The good news -- I was worried I was going to hate it, and I definitely don''t. I''m not 100% sure I''d pick it now, if I was still dress-searching, but I do feel very pretty in it, so all is good. The bust is a big big, and the seamstress is going to gather it into a slight sweetheart neckline (we''d discussed it when I picked the dress out, and there was randomly another bride when I got there who had bought the same dress and had the sweetheart neckline put in, and it looked wonderful!). I also got a crinoline for underneath because it holds the shape better and it was a teeny bit too long without, and actually cheaper to buy the crinoline than to have the dress shortened.

The bad news -- the lovely blue flowered shoes I was planning to wear with it just don''t work. I need something at least 3" tall, blue, preferably peep-toe, that will look good with my dress, does anyone have any suggestions?

Damn. That sucks. Ok. Um...what color blue, what size and budget?

Heh, important questions I forgot to answer, eh? I''m a size 7, sometimes 7 1/2 if the shoes run small. Budget is "nothing outrageous." I''ll consider up to $250ish for the just right pair, but I''d prefer to keep it under $100. And shade of blue...well, not sure. The Naughty Monkey ones were just too blue for the dress -- it''s diamond white, and they''re such a pure, bright blue that it really clashed. So probably something more muted. I''m not diehard blue, though, and I think I''d prefer a really pretty pattern over a solid blue, bonus points for a really pretty blue pattern.

Thank you SO MUCH for the compliments, everyone! My own mom hasn''t seen the photos yet -- other than my friend who took them, my PS crew is the first, hehe. I haven''t had a chance to sort through all the shoe links yet but I''m super excited to see what you''ve all found.

Lovely dress- it looks beautiful on you! I am a big fan of Nordstroms.com for shoes- they have such a huge selection (much better than the store) and you can search by heel height and shoe color. Good luck!

I don''t have anything for you on the shoe front, but I wanted to say that you look absolutely beautiful in your dress! It''s gorgeous! The sweetheart would look fantastic on it - I had a neckline similar to yours which I changed to a sweetheart and it really changes the look of the dress!
