It's a 1.6 carat round, platinum, with a tapered baguette on each side (.38 tw).

The diamond was set my Jorge Adeler of Adeler Jewelers in Great Falls, VA. It's a custom setting designed by Jorge (and myself), I could not have had a better experience with a jeweler.
And oh by the way . . . she said yes (phew!).
