I really wanted my sister to hint to her bf that she liked this setting but she doesn’t want to be involved in his purchase decision. (We are so different from each other.) I don’t have any contact info for him to give him the hint myself. Ugh.

I’d be so tempted if tradergirl doesn’t take it. I have been scouring the internet for affordable diamonds that would fit. I found an eye clean I1 in cleanorigin.com but of course it went quickly and was more than I can spend on a spontaneous purchase. Now I think a Chatham sapphire (8 or 8.5mm?) would look amazing in it and not break the bank.
