This is my first time working with Sako of Cicada Jewelry Design. The center stone is a Columbian emerald I purchased. The two emerald trillions are cut from my grandmothers marquis emerald that was cracked. The diamonds are from two of my grandmas pieces. It will me a mix of 18k yellow gold with white gold. This is the first draft. According to Sako "thing will shrink when we start cleaning the casting and setting. it will be pave set with milgrain galore" The final design will include fewer diamonds and more engraving, because I want to use my grandmas diamonds and not add anymore, stricktly for sentimental reasons.

As always, open to feedback from you wise experts!

Oh, my heart skipped a beat! This is incredible! :kiss2:

I love love your concept, and using your grandmothers emerald pieces and diamonds
how special this is, and will be!

as for feedback-
I hesitate on suggesting anything without knowing if you asked for anything specific or without seeing any inspiration photos of a ring /ring elements you might be pulling from?

simply because otherwise - I don’t have much to suggest :)

I love the inspiration.
I love Sako’s interpretation as well.
Exciting!

I have no suggestions other than if you have desires/dislikes about the width of shank your rings - make sure it’s discussed, as there’s no measurements on the cad to go off of.

Do you have a picture of the three emeralds together?
Emerald eye candy please?

These aren't the emerald glamour shots but here are all the pieces from my grandma that we are combining for this ring!DD38AD4C-5BDB-458A-8F1A-B55F2EE35307.pngDD38AD4C-5BDB-458A-8F1A-B55F2EE35307.png059B609A-B600-41D2-80A0-1DF696872721.png

I LOVE the combination of design and sentimental value of using your grandmother's stone. Something you will love wearing and treasure.

Love the old and the new -- and the re-cutting the fragments!

Love the gallery design, and it will be so beautifulw hen all the milgrain is completed. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Love the sentiment and design - what a great combination! Can’t wait to see it completed!

Wow can’t wait to see! It’s gonna be marvelous!

Oooh, waiting for pictures!

Not sure if it's intentional but the sides of the ring remind me of the infinity symbol and ties in so well with the fact that you're using the part of your grandma's emerald you managed to salvage. Love the meaning behind the ring and the combo of metal colors.

Excited to see the finished ring, looks like it will be lovely!
