First of probably many wedding disasters

The good news? My bridesmaid dresses arrived after 5 months of waiting. The bad news? They are the wrong color. About as wrong as they could be. I ordered yellow, and they are BLUE! And my wedding is just two months away. They assure me we''ll get them in time, so I''m not freaking out yet. But seriously?

Ahahaha oh man. Sorry. That''s terrible, but also pretty funny. How does a company take almost half a year to fulfill your order... and then send you something on the complete opposite side of the color wheel? Seriously? Nobody looked at the work order in all those months?

Sympathies. I hope it was at least a nice shade of blue.

MP, I think you are being a total bridezilla. Yeap. I think you are being completely unreasonable! I am so sure they are THAT BAD! Geeze!

REALLY they are BLUE? As in across the color wheel from yellow? Unbelievable! Is the blue color check box anywhere close to the yellow colored check box on the order form? What did you do when you saw them? I mean did your knees go weak? Arghhh. Are they all the right size? Perhaps they just shipped the wrong order? BLUE? Arrrgggh. I so feel your anguish. But focus on the positive claim that they will fix it. They will they will they will. I would squeak everyday...for an update. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease". Call the manager everyday. Squeak and Squawk, and Quack if you have to. But don''t let them forget you.

Casablanca, you post made me laugh hysterically! SERIOUSLY! Perhaps you can get some of your money refunded for all this ridiculousness! Tell them you have to now pay for rush alterations and they should comp you for that amount in the very least! I mean jeeze! Here is some dust for you, hoping you get the RIGHT color and size dresses in very little time, and perhaps a break on the price!

I can definitely laugh about it. Now. What else is there to do? I went with one of my sisters to look at them because I got a call that they were in. The lady went to the back and came out with a blue dress and said something like, "What do you think?" And I just looked at her and sort of laughed, thinking, "Ha ha, what a lame joke." And she looked at me like I was crazy. So I said, "That''s the wrong dress. Mine are the yellow ones." And she thought I was kidding and sort of laughed. And I was like, "No, seriously, my dresses are yellow!"

This is the style of dress, and I ordered them in "Marigold." The bridal shop had the order correct, but the dress company messed up and sent them in "Marine." I assume the similar names caused the problem.

So, do you think I can count that as my something blue?
