first pair of studs...help

I posted here a few weeks ago that my husband wanted to gift me a pair of studs for our anniversary. After some research here I'm leaning towards purchasing them from Whiteflash. I'm a little overwhelmed with all of the options on their web-site because they all seem to have similar qualities. Can someone with more knowledge suggest a great pair...I'd like 1 CTW and my budget is around $3500 for the pair.

Do you have a color preference? What style of earrings? Platinum, WG, etc? .85 ctw E color (below budget) vs. 1.01 ctw I color (slightly above budget). Personally I think I color is a good color for studs and allows size maximization.

I am good with I for color and I plan to do white gold for the setting.
