Hello,

This is my first post, though I have been lurking for a few months. My future fiance has picked out a setting and has given me the task of choosing a diamond since he knows I am more thorough (aka anal) about these things. I have been working with an online vendor with a great PS reputation and narrowed my choices down to two. Cut is very important, but so is size. Then I am concerned about clarity and lastly, color. If someone could give me some guidance based on these numbers, I would appreciate it. I have seen several pics of both and am waiting for the Ideal Scopes. But I am finding the final choice to be overwhelming. Please let me know if there is any other info I can post for some additional help. The cost difference between the stones is $110...

If that SI 1 is eyeclean I would prefer that one for sure... It has some very nice specs.

Welcome Jill!

Both look promising, so post the Idealscopes when you get them, then we can go from there.

Could tell by the numbers how 2 would perform.

Thanks. I am feeling pretty confident about my choice after seeing the Ideal Scopes. I appreciate the feedback.

I would choose the first in this case.

Actually Beach the second combo can be a good one with some diamonds, and is in particular one of Storm's favourites with certain LGF's.
