First time buyer advice needed

Hello! Looking for advice on the Diamond search for an engagement ring. Me and my partner recently started the search and fell in love with old European cuts. We found a Diamond within our price range, but want to make sure that we are getting a decent quality Diamond for the price we were quoted (5.6K). Any thoughts/helpful advice so appreciated!

The little information on the GIA report does not give a clear answer to your question for anyone to interpret. Nothing looks 'wrong", but a couple photos or a well done rotating image in good lighting goes a long way to provide some help on 'how does it look?" The asking price is not far from a fair price to a consumer.

Have you looked for similar diamonds and found the price of those in line with this one? The market is competitive. Some sellers are looking for a reasonable offer and may accept a token discount to make a sale. Some won't budge, which is also common, especially when the price is fair already.

While we need more to make any assessment of what you should do, there appears to be no reason to not continue to consider this diamond as a fair choice based on the limited information provided.

It looks pretty nice to me (but I cant really tell a lot from the video/picture. The price also seems fair to me.

You might compare with some of the Ivy and Rose stones

This is not GIA so color may be lower than "I"

The fact that you've seen the stone in person and like it is a big plus!

You can also check out Jewels by Grace for comparison. Her stones are a little more expensive though.

It looks nice from what I can see. Can tell much without close up pictures though I don’t see red flags in what you posted. My spider senses are tingling a bit because the price seems crazy low. Is it a private seller or a diamond vendor?
