First time buyer

Hi everyone,


I am a first time diamond buyer and I've just found this forum. I was wondering if I can get some comments on a diamond that I have just bit the bullet and put a deposit on. I checked the HCA calculator and it gave me a score of 1.3 which I suppose is better than the 3.5 I got with the other stone the jeweller showed me. I unfortunately did not have an ASET scope and was not able to see what kind of pattern I would get.

Was wondering if I did okay or is this stone below par.

No, I bought it at a small Jeweller in Toronto. I got it for 8200 CAD for the stone and setting.
