This is the pear shaped diamond, I am looking at

1.01 Carat pear diamond

This pear shaped 1.01 carat G color vs1 clarity has a diamond grading report from GIA

I am located in Alberta Canada and just wondering what your thoughts are on this diamond for its price and do you think its moderately priced well for its characteristics.

I think the second stone (the adimor stone) looks nicer than the first stone. The second stone has less of the crushed iced look
at the pointed in and more of a round brilliant look (nice facets which should have good light return) at the rounded end.

This is the adimor stone with the nice facets in blue.


This is the JA stone (below) with the nice facets outlined in blue. Watch the videos over (and over) again and try
to see where the facets are well defined. Those are good facets. Unfortunately, its hard to do a comparison
since the videos are not at the same angle. The second stone isnt bad per se, I just think the adimor stone
is better.

As explained by @tyty333 , the adimor diamond has better light reflection. Having that said, L/W ratio and shape also matter. If you prefer a more elongated pear (the JA diamind), you need to give up some on light performance. Also, the JA should appear significantly larger if compared side by side.( Look at the dimensions of each diamind)

I would say both are respectable. It is just matter of your taste.
