Flowergirl Dress Thread!!

I seriously think flowergirls are the best parts of weddings. I absolutely can not wait to take my neice shopping for flowergirl dresses (Both of my neices are in my wedding.. but only one is of shopping age). She is five and SOOOO excited about a being a flowergirl.. but shes so funny, because she will tell me exactly what she thinks of different dresses. and Ideas.. I love it.

Here are some of my faves

These are adorable.. but I''ve come to terms with the fact that they are pretty much out of my price range, as I can''t expect my sister to buy two $300 FG dresses plus her BM dress, plus rent a Tux for my nephew (and host my shower.. etc.. etc..)

awww I''m loving those dresses MS!! FI and I are still debating on whether we want FG yet, but I can''t help loving the little cute dresses...

BTW, who designs that first one of the affordable ones? I love that one!!!

My flowergirl is my goddaughter ( and cousin) she will be 3 the week before the wedding. she is adorable...and her dress is so pretty but for some reason it is not on the Mori Lee website. it was a new dress, came out this spring. It is Ivory w/ a pink bow on back of dress and crystals in the tulle... wish I could find a pic!!!!!

Those FG dresses are cute. I really like the three that are out of your price range because I like the V-shaped back. Is there any cheaper ones with back like that? Too bad I don''t have a flower girl. I am the first of my sisters and friends to get married, so no one have kids.

I like the first one (within your price range). I can''t have a FG, they are too old, and one of them has ADD or ADHD, can you imagine her being a flower girl? LOL she probably would be running, throwing flowers everywhere... she''s very cute and so excited about the wedding

Maybe someone could make the FG dresses you love (love those too by the way) that way you can have them exactely the way you want? or is that too expensive?

Hey girls! Thanks for the feedback. Honestly, I love them all and any one of them I''d be thrilled to have Quinn and Kennedy wear. The only stipulation I have is that it comes in the bright pink color that I have most of the dresses shown in. I originally thought about having FMIL make the FG dresses, but I think I will only do this if she offers and only to save my sister the money of buying them. The second batch of FG dresses are all right around $100, which isnt bad at all, but since she has so many other expenses I sort of feel bad. Otherwise, I''d be happy getting any of those cheaper dresses.

JessesGirl - Its so sad you cant find a pic of the FG dresses.. Have you tried looking on any other sites that might sell Mori Lee FG dresses?

JCJD- I had seen that pic in the gallery.. proof that flowergirls are indeed the best part of weddings. I always tell people that I will rent my flowergirls out for other peoples weddings, because they are so darn cute.


qtiekiki - those dresses you posted are adorable! I love the sashes. I am looking for somethng not predominantly white though.
oh there are lots of other cute ones on that site! cheap too!
I love this one.. but the smallest it comes is a 4.. and I think that would be big for Kennedybut maybe not ..(she will be not quite two at the wedding, but my sister is already buying her 2T clothes that are only a little big.. )

the detailing on the pink is very very similiar to my FG dress...it is a mori lee prom dress so I guess they used this design for the little ones as well

This one? I don''t really understand what you mean about the detailing on the dress.. I thought you said the beading was in the tulle? That only has beading on the bodice.

There are no little girls in my family! Boys boys boys...that''s all we''ve got. I''m the only girl of 4 in my family, and my brother has 3 boys. I adore my nephews. I want to eat them up, I''d love to use all three as ring bearers if I could. Too bad I can''t have flower boys!! he he he, might ruin them for life right?

Sorry...there is beading on the bodice, in rows and that bow detail around the bodice on the "big girl dress" is around the waist and the back ties in a big pink bow. the bottow is tulle and it had the crystals scattered on it...I have NO idea why this dress is not anywhere, it came out this spring so it should be around. It is due to come in any day now..I will have to take a pic of it!

sigh! I wish I knew a little girl, but I''ve got no one! I don''t have a big family and neither does my bf. The only little ones in my family are my cousin''s two boys, who are 6 and 3, I think. I guess one of them will probably do for a ring bearer, but I know my cousin won''t let them wear a cute little dress unfortunately.

MS- I may take you up on renting out one of your nieces, since they would probably be local to my wedding anyway
