I bought this gorgeous antique champagne OMC 0.95 ct and 18k diamond ring. It is SI2 and is strongly fluorescent (green)! I love how it looks bright greenish yellow in some lighting and champagne in other lighting. I would love to hear your thoughts! I usually stick with coloured stones!

Whoa! That is super cool! How lucky are you?

Pretty lucky I think! I know coloured diamonds are not everyone's favourite but I love them! I will take it in to an appraiser I know who specializes in old diamonds. I am so curious about this piece! The setting looks much newer than the stone.

Sweet that is kicken

This is super cool. These settings are often set too high for my taste but this one is perfection.

Thanks @dmack ! I just had it resized today and it fits perfectly and isn't too high!

So cool! I love fluor and have a stone with SB but green is so neat!

That’s so cool! Love it!

Love it! My intense yellow EC has strong green fluor, turns into a peridot in sunlight. Isn't it delightful? You have two diamonds in one!

I can't wait to look at it in the sun tomorrow! Please post pics of yours too! Wow!!!!

SO cool!

COOL!!!!!!!

Very cool fluorescence!

Cool stone!
Based on the pics- GIA would call that Blue Fluorescence. I don’t recall them calling FL green. But it’s a few days after Xmas and I’m still punch drunk:)
In general- the hue of the fluorescence is sometimes hard to relate to what GIA called it.

I love it!

Patrick, yellow and just thinking about green.
This is a 1.17 that faces up like a .90, he's as deep as a molar. Don't care, love this diamond.

Gorgeous! Mine is an intense green yellow with strong green fluorescence, and it goes from this (I don't have a good hand picture of it inside) to my avatar in the sun. Fluorescence is so much fun.

Demon, I have admired your ring more times that I can tell you. I think it's the green to rule all green diamonds. Such a piece!

That's so sweet! It's a little deep and could have a better cut, but I do love seeing what looks like a little chunk of green popsicle in the sun. Kenny probably has the green to rule all greens - his little oec green and his vivid green yellow with very strong green fluor......but we rarely see them.

I have a U-V colored diamond with a very similar effect. Mine has phosphorescence as well. You may want to check if yours does..
