Hi everyone,
I''m not a bride (just a lurker), but since a lot of brides sunless tan, I wanted to share something AWESOME that I just discovered... about 5 minutes ago white prepping for valentine''s day. I was going about my usual sunless tan before special occasions ritual and was trying to get the guide color + tanner off of my hands by scrubbing and washing multiple times

. After a few minutes of unsuccessful scrubbing, I reached for my toothpaste ( I have no idea why) and within 20 seconds, all of the sunless tanner was off of my hands!!! It was absolutely amazing. So for any of you brides who will be sunless tanning yourselves before your big day, use just regular tube tooth paste (mine was colgate whitening with baking soda + peroxide) to remove the tell tale stains!!

I don't plan on sunless tanning, but thanks for the tip! Maybe I'll be able to save one of my bridesmaids if they decide to!

Ooh! Another tip.

At my stepsisters wedding, she got a deodorant mark on her husband’s tux when he had to pick her up during a "fun" picture. It was REALLY noticeable... right on his chest area! And they still had all of their formal pictures to take!
So I grabbed my younger brothers jacket, turned it inside out and used the inside of his cuff to "rub" the mark off my step-bro-in-law's tux!My stepsister was so grateful and I felt like Lady MacGyver lol.

So the thing that'll take off deodorant stains? Other black, textured fabric! I was sure to use an inconspicuous spot on my bros jacket because the mark goes from one fabric to the other.

More sunless tan tips:

Step one: Use a really good exfoliator in the shower or bath before you apply the sunless tanner! I use a sugar scrub with loofah gloves before I shave my legs, and that ensures all the dead skin is gone first. NEVER shave first and then exfoliate! It will irritate the skin and give you razor rash.

Step two: Give your body 10 minutes after the shower before applying it. You want to make sure you''re completely dry first. If it''s hot and humid out, put the a/c on or use a fan. The sunless tanners won''t be absorbed by sweaty or damp skin evenly.

Step three: put a thick moisturizer on your hands first. It will act as a barrier to the sunless tanner, and you will be able to wash it off your hands more easily. Also, apply a light moisturizer to the knees, elbows, ankles and tops of feet first.

Step four: apply facial tanner first. THEN do the body. Be careful at the elbows, knees and ankles. When you do your legs, bring the tanner all the way down to the feet so you don''t have the tops of your feet bright white and tan legs.

Step five: Wait at least 5 minutes before getting dressed! While you wait, carefully wash your hands. I use my sugar scrub to wash my hands with, and I fill the sink instead of letting the water run so it doesn''t splash onto my arms and cause spots of no color.
