I purchased this stunning ring last year from Jewels by Erica Grace, and it breaks my heart that I cannot afford to keep it.

Here are the stats:

- 2.48ct Antique Cushion Cut diamond that measures approximately 8.3mm x 8.4mm x 5.73mm, is AGS J and SI2 (totally eye clean)
- The stunning platinum reproduction setting has approx 0.48ctw Old European Cut diamond melee and a triple shank band
- Size 7.5 (and sizeable by local jeweller)
- Comes with valuation (which I will provide on request)

I am happy to provide additional photos, so feel free to ask.

Asking price $15k.

Yes, I would sell the stone on its own for $13k.

Just so you know it is actually an OEC, not cushion cut (apologies for the error), and this was confirmed with the AGS certification :angel:

Well since I am starting to be really confused. Are we talking about this ring: http://jewelsbygrace.smugmug.com/NEW-ARRIVALS/285ct-Antique-Cushion-Cut/ ???

You are saying its J color and SI1. Some data from the past (probably when you purchased it) contained a notice from a specialist who estimated it to be K-L color. And now in the recent JbG post they talk about a M-N-O stone in VS1 quality? Are these different rings and diamonds or is the data inconsistent?

I think it's a totally different ring. The center stone sizes are different and the gallery is different also.

Ok, so two rings :). Still, in the link provided by shelby herself on 25th of April on the ring the expert estimates in the feedback the color K-L. Maybe it was earlier and the diamond was first uncertified. And then the diamond was sent for certification to AGS and turned out to be a J. I just want to clarify. That is all. Many thanks.

Hi everyone,
The link to the original ring photos on Grace's site is from when I purchased it - it was not certified at that stage but just came with that valuation from David Atlas. The stone has since been certified, and you will see the report via the link I provided. Grace currently has the stone listed for sale on its own, the ring itself is not listed, but the stone comes with the option of coming with the setting.

I hope that all makes sense :), but if not, just ask.
