I'm curious about the quality, b/c I found a knock-off of the Maggie dress I LOVE and it really looks great. The problem I'm having is that, I actually can't even try on the Maggie b/c the stores here don't have it, and even if I pay to bring a sample, I won't get my big toe into one of those!

So, yes, I am going to try on plenty of dresses here, but in the meantime I keep coming back to this one.

I am wondering if anyone has used them before and if they tried to return/had a problem with returning a dress. What was the quality like? I SOOOOO don't need a name-brand, just a dress I love, and this one grabs me (beach wedding). Originally I was going for something a big shorter, train-wise, but I don't care about that now.

So, anyone??
There's a 10-percent restock fee if I order and send back, btw, but considering the dress is like HALF of the Maggie version, I guess that's not bad...)

And what do you guys think of the dress?

It's at www.bridalonlinestore.com and it's called "rose" Here's a pic of the Maggie dress...

I think it''s a beautiful dress, but I don''t know anything about the store you''re talking about. Good luck figuring out what to do!

Can you go try on similar style dresses - that wrap waist doesn''t work on everyone. I liked a lot of the Maggie dresses with that feature, and its flattering on lots of people, but it really didn''t work well on me at all (I''m short and curvy). On the upside, my experience was that the fit of similarly-styled dresses was often similar in terms of what was flattering, so if you try on something of that style and its really flattering, then that dress has a high probability of being flattering as well.

Hope that helps and good luck!

I''ve heard good things about Bridesave.com, but I haven''t heard of the site you mentioned. Have you looked on Ebay? I remember when I was looking for a dress that Ebay had a lot of Maggies. Also, have you gotten quotes from Pearlsplace and Rkbridal? Maybe you can get the authentic Maggie by going through a discounter.

Good luck!

i remember looking at that site.. Don''t know much about them though..

its too bad you can''t try the dress on.

But I guess a 10% return fee isn''t too bad..

Its a lovely dress and if you hate it you can always return it!

I''ve been on that site alot of times looking at dresses. I also look at dresses on Bridesave.com everyday. I am looking at ordering my dress as well from bridesave.com, it is also a Maggie Sottero dress but it is PINK. I know different then the tradition whites. I am also hoping that I don''t encounter any problems. I would be extremely upset. I hoping that it will be a beautiful dress. It really sucks that you can''t try on or even see the dress before purchasing it. SUUUUUUUUUUUCKS!

Keep your head up and pray for the best with me!

Thanks for your input, ladies! As wonderful as it is to be able to access so many different dresses online, it''s furstrating too when you find a dress you love and there''s no chance of seeing it locally. I bet a lot of people have been in this position before! I believe wholeheartedly in good recommendations, though, so I was hoping someone had ordered from them before--- once you hear about one good (or bad) experience, it can make all the difference in the world!

Amber-- actually, I have only been to one shop so far to try on dreses, and this style is the MOST flattering on me, so we''re on the same wavelength here -- thanks!

cpster -- I will definitely check the other places -- I think I am AS nervous about ebay as the other place!

MrzNeicia -- Good luck with everything and let me know how it turns out! I love the idea of a pink (or colored in general) dress (this one I like is a bit out of the norm with all of the color, too) Which dress is it??

Melissa and fisher -- thanks!
