Hehe! So everyone''s talking about going bling ring shopping and all that, and dammit I''m excited too and want to share!

Since beginning the hunt, I''ve been all over the place trying to find what I want within the budget I''ve been given. So after being worried about not being able to do that and everything I liked being too much, I was inspired by pauly''s experience with Green Lake Jewelry Works in Seattle and sent them an email, basically saying, can you do this and for how much. I feared the reply, but it came a couple hours later and the price was within range!!!

Yayyyyy!!! The SA was soooo nice, and I''m looking forward to getting down to it! Let the shopping begin...in 10 months!!!

Awww...sunnyd I'm glad you have a clearcut idea of what you want. We started looking Feb of last year, and I'm still lost and keep changing my mind. I have a semi budget and I know kind of what I want, but I'm lost as to how to get there...Not to mention all the jewelers have been a big PITA. But I'm so happy for you!! I'm guessing you have a timeline all figured out and everything?

Thanks everyone! I'm thinking 10 months as a rough deadline/guideline, so we'll see. Even if it's mostly cash and some credit, I think BF wants to get going on it, when I told him I was thinking an early 2010 wedding, he said, so I'll be 27 when I get married, wow. (As in, that's older than he thought. Hahaha, silly man, he'll be 25 in a month.)

As for details...I'm hoping for an MMM/Winnie/Fat Guy inspired creation.

On a much smaller scale though, hahaha. 1/2 carat please! Ahhhh I can't wait.
