Found a raw diamond

Hello everyone

I recently found a raw uncut diamond, clear white 2.59ct (twin shaped) passed all diamond tests, under uv light it has a soft green glow. Any ideas on the price?

I recently moved near a mining village so i came to realise that people around have these gems at their disposal and this one was a gift from a local lady after i helped her with transportation.

Based on the look of the rough and the non-answer im going to say there is a good chance its Zimbabwe rough.
I advise caution even discussing it here.

How bout expecting all to follow the PS policies they agreed to follow when they registered?
Admin can't read every post in every thread.
That's why PS has the Report Post function.

I’ve just re read all of the forum policies. I’m not sure what policy is being breached here. That’s why I asked why this thread had been reported. Clearly I understand the “report a thread” FUNCTION. I was wondering what was wrong with the post - ie what the policy breach was. Am I missing something?

I also could not find an explicit policy, but I wonder if this has to do with Kimberly process and ensuring all diamond discussion support adherence to that. Just a guess and I'm prepared to be wrong.

Adding under US law "The Clean Diamond Trade Act (the "Act", Public Law 108-19) was signed into law on July 29, 2003. The Act prohibits the "importation into, or exportation from, the United States on or after July 30, 2003, of any rough diamond, from whatever source, unless the rough diamond has been controlled through the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS)".

The Census Bureau is responsible for collecting, compiling and publishing import and export statistics for the U.S. under the provisions of Title 13 and Title 15 U.S.C. The Act requires the Census Bureau to maintain statistics on imports and exports of rough diamonds under subheadings 7102.10, 7102.21, and 7102.31 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States."

The vague initial post, the vague responses to specific questions, OP's explanation for how he/she came into possession of this thing, and respected tradepeople's responses concerned me.
