1 down, 3 to go. the good thing about being an admin, that is your admin boss will call other people for you, first. PHEW.
so, now that my big girl pants were on, i had to run outside and call my boyf so he could tell me everything is going to be okay.
oh, did i mention i am going back to my OLD job that will be paying 10k less?
i guess i won''t be buying some football tickets anytime soon!!
tonight, i will grab some red wine and sit in the hot tub.

Congrats on the big move!
It just goes to show that money can''t really buy happiness, and you have to stick with what you actually ENJOY doing! Good luck with the new/old job!
That is exactly how I''m feeling in my job! I used to work for a retail place while in school, and while the pay sucked big time, I loved what I did! Now I work in an office doing boring work. Money is awesome, but I''m about fed up being bored allllll day!!!Date: 9/15/2008 1:31:24 PM

i thought (a year ago) that i was sick of dead end customer care. while that still may be true, i SO MISS talking to new (or any) people everyday. and i did take pride in my work. unfortunately at the time our company was pretty poorly managaged which made working there very hard.
so i took a job as an office admin/exec admin and thought it would be perfect. i was SOOO WRONG. I have NO passion in my job. my boss asked me what was wrong with the job, and i couldnt answer. so obviously it was a personal thing. i think that i am just a great sales/customer person, and if i enjoy doing it, i should stick with it, even if it means less money.
E and i talked about it, and he knows that in the long term i do want to be a stay at home mom up until preschool years. so i really want a job that i can come back to without have years of work to catch up. granted i will probably work partime after 1 year of being a sahm, but again i want a job that i can handle part time.
on top of all that, the old company that i am going back too, i had quite a few girlfriends there. and i am NOT the type to go out alot, so it was nice seeing them on a daily basis. not to mention my current job, the closest woman to my age is 30 years older than me. not that thats a bad thing, its just hard to connect.
and regarding the seahawks... *GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR* at least my crush is still okay (Kerney, number 97)
oh don''t worry. they''ve shrivelled up to the size of peanuts now.Date: 9/15/2008 2:14:58 PM

So congrats to you for having bigger cajones than me to do what makes you happy!
