I received a glorious and amazing 2.16 carat J-VS2 August Vintage cushion in a platinum/yellow gold Acacia setting by CvB from the lovely @JDDN today. My oldest was having a fun doing a photo shoot with her.

I'll be honest and tell you, I would have been extremely tempted to buy that ring if I had seen it in time! It is one of my favorite rings Caysie has made! Perfect stone and perfect setting! JDDN had shown me when she got it, and I loved it S0 much! I still want to make a ring with that setting!

Thank you all! It definitely was “meant to be”, even down to the size (which is perfect for me). I didn’t want to take it off last night. LOL! I will definitely get more pictures of it.

Having been though the debacle of the “urine” colored oval (which was an I), I was nervous about a J stone. But now I understand what others mean about “warmth” in a diamond. She shows it just a little, like a glow. But then she will go bright white! And the flashes... oh man! As @JDDN told me, she’s a chunky monkey for sure.

My husband was also very pleased. He loves the detail of the Acacia setting and he loves that I love her.
