Something I was reading here reminded me of this quote said by a white house representative a few months ago that I found hilarious.
Remember when those ducks decided to lay eggs outside the White House and they had secret service (or whatever) protecting them? I just remember this one WH official coming out after the ducklings hatched to annouce to the press that "the mother duck sits on the babies because they are cold and wet" (paraphrase, not direct quote)
I just remember thinking to myself "thank you, Captain Obvious" haha.
Not really a point to this, just something a little funny I remembered
