Sorry, got 15+ people coming over for an afternoon of winter activities on the frozen lake tomorrow, so I am trying to rustle up a tiramisu and sherry trifle as well as practising my photography skills (which are improving!).

Anyway, here''s a few more shots.

I even paid some attention to composition in these shots. I should have been peeling potatoes and sprouts instead of preparing all of these shots. You have no idea how many I deleted to get these precious few.

I had the manual in one hand and the camera in the other. I''m determined to get a bit better at this photography lark in 2010.

Now despite my advanced knowledge of diamonds since joining this illustrious group, my ability to impart it to Mr Gailey and Baby Gailey remains somewhat lacking. Consequently, this might not be the best quality diamond in the world, but it certainly beats the one they bought me last Christmas, which fell out of it''s setting pretty quickly.

So, I''m still aiming for a fire shot, but don''t have the time to read the tutorials right now.

Got 10 minutes before the rack of lamb is done. Here''s my last close-up. Not quite up to Kenny''s quality of shots, but I think I''m improving.

Oohh Gailey, I love it! I really like the setting - it reminds me a lot of one my friends husband has, and I looooove how the comfort fit feels. And what a honker! You gotta let us know the size of that diamond

I''m working on more photos folks, but the battery has just died! It''s on charge as we speak.

Now what it lacks in quality, it sure has heck makes up for in size! Mind you, I''ll need to get ring re-sized, because it''s way too big. No time before Christmas because just like always they were out shopping for it on Christmas Eve.

Now this isn''t a very good photo because I had to ask Mr G to pose, given that he''s even worse with the camera than I am and the ring is too big anyway.

Besides, when I asked him to pose by the ponsettia he thought I was completely barking mad. He said, "you''ve got 5 seconds, and don''t tell anyone I did this"

Yup, just what every gal needs, a diamond studded coffee cup, boxed to look like a diamond ring.

Yup, Baby Gailey is forever hanging around in stores that sell complete tat. This is one of the better practical jokes he''s sprung on me. Last year I got a key ring that was a diamond solitaire ring of about 500+ cts.
