i''m fairly set on the whiteflash tiffany 6-prong knife edge setting, but it bothers me a bit that it won''t lie flush with a wedding band. does anyone have any suggestions? should i just get over it? BTW, i don''t like the idea of the curved band so that''s not an option.

also, if i get a standard band (like the matching WF knife edge wedding band), will it rub against the setting and cause any damage?

as always, thanks for your input. look forward to your advice....

There may be a slight gap. But in actuality rings move and don''t stay together all the time anyway unless you have them tight! I wouldn''t worry about it. I have a tiny gap between mine and I like that you can see that I wear two rings instead of one! Over time there may be some wear to the two rings, but it won''t cause a problem. The knife edge band should be fine, but if you ever get a shared-prong diamond band, just be sure it sits very low so the diamonds don''t scratch the prongs of your e-ring. Channel or beadset bands won''t be a problem.

Ditto what she said, LOL. I was really, really against the gap in my original wedding set, and even went so far as to have them soldered. A few years later... I got over it, LOL. I know have a new set, with a small gap, and honestly, I rarely even notice it!

I don''t think the gap between the bands would be that obvious at all. It is a beautiful set and, as others have noted, this way people will know for sure that you are wearing two rings.
