What? Where?

Thanks!

I love that rhodochrosite! And the rainbow moonstone. And the purple sapphire...:kiss2::love::kiss2:

I emailed him about the rainbow moonstone. I was looking for a cab, and pretty set on that, but needed to ask about the moonstone (compared to another one he emailed me a picture of). Because it's just gorgeous.

It really is. I don’t know anything about moonstones but that one just struck me as special.

Oh thanks for giving heads up. I've been checking old site every few days and had just checked before browsing pricescope. Love the matched pair of red spinels and the "moonstone" is so pretty.

I like the red Spinel pair, however the piggy bank has been emptied.

DK :rolleyes2:

I love the rainbow moonstone, but am on a spend hold right now.

I have never ever gotten a response back from an email for a new gem I was interested in. Is that normal from this vendor ? Not even a thanks but you were too slow response...

No, that's not normal. He always responds yes or no.

+1 on @suzanne2. I always get a reply. Maybe it’s going to the spam folder.

What do you guys think of the 11 ct fluorite? I think the color is so pretty but i don't know anything about the stone or its value. This one is over 11ct and $341. I just looked up that it is a 4 mohs? Would that be ok for a pendant or is it too soft?

I like that pair as well @dk168. If I had a project in mind I'd buy them.

I don't think it's too soft for a pendant and it's a beautiful stone. My worry would be damage during setting. You'd have to use someone experienced with setting soft stones.

Would you consider David Klass good for a soft stone? I'm not going to be getting this stone but just for future reference.

I have a fluorite pendant that's held up very well to nearly a year of wear. I bought it as a piece of finished jewelry, so I can't say anything about the risks of setting it, but a gently worn fluorite can do just fine. Just take it off for sports and such, and maybe consider a bezel setting for extra safety.
