The find follows the 2018 discovery of Inkalamu, which translates as lion in Bemba. Kapeta also retrieved that stone, which weighed 5,655 carats. In 2010, the company recovered the 6,225-carat Insofu, also known as the elephant emerald.

Gemfields I think is a 20 year old public company trying hard to be De Beers for gems
I hope we can all agree that diamonds are rare now
And this old report - I am sure that in the case of emeralds there are huge amounts of really stunning new sources being mined in at least a dozen new places in the past few decades.
