Gemfix Purple Sapphire in CvB Cora Setting

I present to you a Purple sapphire Cora ring by CvB! Here's a quick video of it in action! https://gph.is/g/EGyDQzn

The sapphire: 1.81 ct unheated oval modified "Portugese" cut by Andrew Gulij of Gemfix. Very moody and changes from violet-purple to lavender-purple depending on the lighting. It is 8×7.1mm so it is more of a "roval".





The setting: I chose CvB's Cora setting in 14k WG with rhodium plate. It is soo gorgeous and detailed! Here are Caysie's renders.

The COLOR of this sapphire is divine! Thank you so much for posting this thread. I saw your ring on Caysie's IG and my jaw just dropped. I had to see more!

Does your ring have antiquing? There is a depth to the tone of the metal that I don't usually see in plated WG.
