Pricescope helped me find the gorgeous pear diamond in my engagement ring, so I'm back seeking advice for a right hand ring project. I'd like a colored gemstone to wear in a custom made white gold right hand ring ... it will likely be either Edwardian in style with milgrain detailing and some side diamonds or perhaps a diamond halo. I'll have Pete at Quest make it. I'm in the beginning of brainstorming and trying to narrow down the stone choices to one type of stone. I don't want a sapphire (or a blue one anyway) or a cab because I already have a star sapphire in a diamond halo that I sometimes wear on my right hand so I'm looking for something different. Colorwise, I'd say I'm attracted to green, purple, pink, and the caribbean sea blue of some zircons (it's blue but different from my sapphire). Shapewise, I don't want a pear because I have a pear diamond, but other than that I'm pretty open (I even like the idea of a heart, but know there aren't a lot of those out there).
Do ya'll good expert people of Pricescope have any thoughts about what kind of stone I should choose given those parameters, and a very small budget? And I do mean small budget ... I'm thinking no more than $500 to $600 for the center stone.
Thanks much!
