OK, thats a wrap for now. Thanks for all the wonderful information we've been able to make use of from this fine website and the marvelous people who contribute to the forums. Oh, and I forgot pop down the ring size, which is a dainty 4.5. The ring is a cathedral bead setting with mill grain edges. The prong bits are made to make sure I can have a wedding band sit flush up against it. The wonderful thing is my fiance selected the diamond and had it hand made here in australia unbenknownst to me!

I've also got a quick .mov file video thing of the stone, not sure if thats uploadable or not though.

Thanks Deelight, we seem to be just about everywhere.

One thing I forgot to mention in my initial post was where the ring and stone came from, it was purchased by my Fiance in September/October from Jogia diamonds, the stone being one of their ''Crossfire'' series. I only just recieved it though, he was waiting for the perfect moment, which ended up being in a rowboat on a sunny day in a secluded tree lined region of the Yarra river.
