Getting married next weekend, question on receiving line?

We met with our officiant last night to go over some things before the rehearsal and wedding next week and started talking about our receiving line. We didn''t know if the bride and groom are supposed to be at the front of the line and the first to greet people or if we wait at the back of the line and we are the last to greet people? we couldn''t decide. what are you guys going to be doing?

I am not much help, since our "receiving line" was only DH and I,
to be honest it worked out great since it was faster, and then if his parents, or other bp members did know someone, they were able to talk to them informally on the lawn outside church after they greeted us.

If I were a guest, I would want the bride and groom first- that way if I didn''t know the rest of the line, I could move on after saying hello to the bride and groom-
