Gia cert oec no plot clarity question

I was looking at an oec (it is already set an a ring) and its GIA certed but no plot. I know that sometimes dealers do that because it’s less expensive than getting the plotted one. It’s I1 clarity though so that can be scary. But on the clarity remarks it just says “feather”. That’s all it says. From Pics and video I can’t see anything. Polish symmetry good. Could it be that it’s clear but just the feather making it I1?

The feather is probably on the table and sizable in proportion to the size of the stone. The stone should be viewed the with a loupe.

Feather=crack, and an I1 feather is a huge no for me.

I actually prefer feathers, even in an I1, since they have a good change of being eye clean. Durability issues (or lack of) have been discussed here, you can find some old threads with the search function. The only thing I would worry about is dirt accumulating in the crack if worn in a ring.

I have two I1 diamond with a grade setting feathers, a 0.64 and a 0.74 cushions. Both are totally eye clean.

I’ve seen a video and can’t make out much. But I wish there was a plot! One thing that is perplexing and I’m trying to read up on is I see GIA reports that say feather, cavity, chip yet clarity is VS2. Then just “feather” but I1.
