This GIA excellent cut grade fail the HCA test.

I doubt any of the GIA Cut Study Team would grace their loved ones with a gift of a diamond with those proportions.

Here is a gem adviser file.

It is stones like this that have led me to wonder why some people do not understand how big and bad a role GIA''s Diamond Dock has played in creating this monsterous anomaly in GIA''s grading system. They give free kicks to stones like this and for the same reasons they penalize slightly shallow stones.

If it helps. The diam. for the stone is too small for a 1.25. But if the stone looks good to your eyes then buy it! But it appears you will be buying a stone too small for its weight. Not to be harsh, but these are the measurements.

Also Garry really seems to like more shallow stones. So do I!
