good price? more importantly, TOO GOOD OF A PRICE?

hi. this is a bit over my budget, but if it's REALLY somethin' else i may consider... looks to me like a good deal. however, do you think this is just TOO GOOD of a deal? ie is there something fishy going on? anyone hear of these guys?

note: what i mean to say is, i'd prefer to pay a few bucks more and end with a real diamond, rather than pay less and end with a cz.

I would pass personally, do a search on Ebay and you will be able to read about other's experiences. There are some good vendors there, but I know nothing about this particular one, and that is a lot of money to be considering. Why not look at some of the trusted Pricescope vendors? You could get a stunning diamond for that budget without any risk involved.

Here is an example. Unless you particularly wanted VVS you could drop to VS and never see the difference.

i agree, but what i found is about $8k higher... probably worth the reliability, i guess; however (see my other post), what if i bring an independent professional? i see they sell in person in NY (i'm in the area) to make sure i'm getting the real deal?

i kinda want the VVS, i was aiming for flawless but that's TOTALLY out of my ballpark
