Hi, guys...just wanted to see if anybody has good ideas for stocking stuffers for the guy in your life. So far I''ve thought of Starbucks gift card and some type of nice guy facial creams b/c he wouldn''t buy those himself. Any other ideas?

Cigars, cigar accessories, a magazine, naughty gifts...deodorant, toothpaste, tooth brush, etc.

steph, adorable lil munchkin you have in your av!

Ok, not knowing the guy, or how much you want to spend, I''ll just throw these out.

GC to Sears

Small tools

Nail manicure set

GC to golf course (maybe one that''s more elite, that he might not normally go to)

Golf tees, shoe cleaner, balls, gloves, towel, nice name tag for bag

Scratch offs

Fishing lures, rubber worms, hooks

Nice pocket knife

Nose and ear hair trimmer

Car stuff, i.e., wax, nice cleaning rags, detail brush, window cleaner/defogger stuff, air freshner

Cigars

There''s a few, HTH!

greg loves children's patterned bandaids, don't know why but he likes the funny bright patterns so i always get him a pack for his stocking. he is a rower and when he goes out he always comes home with blisters from the oars so he actually uses them a lot.

some of his fave small cohiba cigars & a windproof lighter from restoration hardware

brookstone 7 in 1 safety car keychain tool (has a window breaker, digital tire gauge, seatbelt cutter and other random items which are cool for boys)

we also do funny little household items like maybe a sponge for cleaning the kitchen (he cleans, i cook) and he gets me spatulas and things like egg timers etc.

socks.

DVD's...this year he's getting the latest pirates movie and the bourne ultimatum.

Pen
book
belt
wallet
CC holder
golf balls if he plays
tie
cufflinks
cologne
ipod holder
handkerchief
diary / agenda

years subscription to his favourite magazine, or if he has a hobby or interest such as golf, cars weightlifting, fishing etc.

Hey, guys! Thanks for all the great ideas. Thanks also Ellen for the sweet comment about my lil guy! We went out and about today to see what I could find and here is what I came up with so far:
some peppermint bark - he loves this stuff
new wallet
passport holder
boxers
men''s face wash/creme/shave gel set
luggage tags
Starbucks gift card
Little sample of David Beckham''s new cologne (he is a huge soccer fan)

I will probably get a few more Christmas candy treats and call it a day! Thanks so much for the ideas girls!

You got some great stuff!

I got a Restoration Hardware gift catalog a couple weeks ago and they had a great section of stocking stuffers! Mini etch-a-sketches, lots of old-fashioned toys, etc. Plenty of guy-related things throughout the catalog that were small enough to fit in a stocking.

Velcro gloves...so as he is throwing things away he has time to have second thoughts. I just came up with that one off the top of my head. §

Buh dum dum ching!

. Still holding out hope for you that it will be found somewhere.

Thanks Steph...I appreciate your comments. Thanks Lorelei and Hudson for the applause.

Steph...I second the restoration hardware visit. The vintage toy stuff is cool. There are small led flash lights that can be place in glove boxes or brief cases. Have you seen the photo holder cuff links. That little cutie in your avatar would sure look great in those. Car wash tokens. Hand made IOWE you coupon books would be fun. Oh, the Aveda store has some cool manly herbal stuff.

Not sure what he drives, but your brand of car dealer has some cool stuff at the parts counter. Especially if it is a German Marque.

This stuffing stuff is what it should be about. I love it! Have fun! §

OOOhh, Monarch and DKS....Restoration hardware has some great stuff. I love their triva games, and all the vintage toys like the Rubik's cube, that would be great for his office. I also found some cute duvets while I was on their site. There is one in the mall by us, so I will have to make a visit. Thanks for the great ideas guys!

PB also is going the RH small stocking stuffer gift route, they have about 10-12 fun small things for stockings in their stores too.

Also try REI for small fun SS items esp if you guys are outdoorsy. They have some great deals too, I picked up a moisture wicking long sleeve Polarmax thing for Greg, a face mask/scarf velcro thing and a hat for something like $40 total online for his upcoming boys only ski trip in Feb.

I always do socks, undershirts, chapstick, handsanitizer, rainex, deodorant, Origins Moisturizer, JCrew Hair Sculpting cream, Andes Mints....

that''s all I can think of at the mo''

I got a lot of them same stuff everyone else has mention:

A Subscription to Sports Illustrated
Tickets to the Sugar Bowl (He played for Georgia)
a Rubik Cube
Newton''s Cradle
iTunes Giftcard
Best Buy Giftcard
Cuff links
Wallet
Sunglasses
D&G Light Blue Cologne
Curve Crush (He likes it, so I got it.)
Stethoscope (He''s a doctor)
Fountain Pens
Prescription Pads
A new Agenda

I also purchased the socks, underwear, and all of that good stuff but it hasn''t arrived and I''m just going to throw it in a box and wrap it.

yum...can you tell Santa to put a few of those in MY stocking? LOL! I am so not a chocolate fan, but for some reason I love those!

I left the RH "gift" catalog in the bathroom last week and DH''s comment was: "that was a REALLY cool catalog!" So I knew from that statement he would like pretty much any of the offerings either under the tree or in his stocking this year. Hee hee! Thank goodness for catalogs like that, I don''t have time to get out to the malls so if it weren''t for suggestions in the mail I''d have no idea what to get him! Thank you, marketing geniuses!

Oh, and I also usually do sample size toiletries in DH''s stocking (he travels frequently and is always in need of powder, deo, lotions, etc.), takes up some space and is also useful! I love stockings! They are almost as fun as wrapped gifts!

We try to hit up RH every year, another vote for them. We also got some great ones at Eddie Bauer yesterday.
