It's finally done (so relieved). Had this beautiful 2.43 ct, spready, OLD OEC, Q-R lovely reset in its rightful home, the two-tone CvB Casablanca setting! Ring is on consignment with Erica at LAD. I am flexible for a FAST SALE!

I love this ring, it is fabulous! It is a LOT of GORGOEUS DIAMOND in a platinum and yellow gold setting at a great price. It's just way too much diamond for my wonky, arthritic, old hands AND my daily comfort level-lol. This ring is gorgeous! I almost caved again when I picked it up from my local jeweler (diamond setter). But I will never wear it. Diamond is fantastic in the CvB Casablanca 2-tone setting. Diamond initially hand chosen and set by Adam and his team at Old World Diamonds. GIA Certification included.

This lovely ring is in PRISTINE condition. Hope someone who loves it as much as I do will re-home it!

Ooooops edit-to-above: The band shown in the first photo with the Casablanca is an 11 stone, 1.65 carat custom platinum band with Modern Brilliant Cut E-F, VS1 diamonds. This gives you an idea of how bright and white the Q-R faces up. Wanted to add this just for those with questions about a Q-R diamond! Thanks for looking!

Good Luck on a quick sale! This is a beautiful ring and as it IS engagement season I imagine there will be a lot of interest!

Wowza! That is stunning. I wish you luck for a fast sale (and for no second thought). :D

THANK YOU everyone for your kind words and encouragement! Uggggghhhhhh...this has been hard and I'm happy the 2.43 OEC is back in this setting. I foolishly asked Caysie @CvB Inspired Designs to make a custom setting for me FOR THIS DIAMOND, which was a huge mistake. Lesson learned. It was my fault 'cause I knew nothing (I still know very little) at that time about diamonds, customization, etc.

After some agonizing decisions, followed by a VERY COSTLY & FOOLISH mistake, I found the right stone for my new setting (I'll post about that another time) and I'm parting with this ring.

I'm not just saying this because I desperately need for this piece to sell but it is absolutely gorgeous IRL. Ignorantly, I thought this ring's beauty was primarily about the diamond (but I ADORE the Casablanca Setting...always will) which it is not. The glory of this ring is really the whole picture. The diamond sings in this setting. I hope it finds a loving new home!

Thanks again for the comments!!
Price is flexible! DH needs to pay off our new roof o_O :roll2: :P2
