The frog is AMAZING. The detail is just exquisite, the little guy is so small but so detailed! I love the little claw at the top of the moonstone, so much attention to design!

eta- so I take it Sally was able to create the ring around the stone size that you specified? That would take away the stress of mailing stones to her!

Last pics, I''m sure to take many more when I get it set and can play around with it more without fearing the stone will fall out! Hehe. The setting is incredible delicate though, I''m not used to such delicacy, hope I don''t break it!

The setting is 18k gold, I had ordered it in 14k, but she upgraded it to 18k free of charge because they had just run out of the 14k alloy but she didn''t want to make me wait for new allow to come in. She''s so sweet!

And yes, she made the ring to the stone size perfectly I think Hence the my daring to do the hand shots, lol.

Thanks Kelli, I'm tempted to buy a 2nd one for myself, hehe.

Now I just have to worry about finding a competent bench jeweler to set the pad into the ring. Eek! I'll be a nervous wreck till it's done! I swear, if the jeweler carelessly ruins the ring or the stone, I will have my first Bridezilla moment.

Sorry the colors are wonky in these shots, my study is lit with icky fluro energy savers

they make most gems look pretty hideous.

My schedule''s a bit hectic, but hopefully I''ll get the stone set by the end of the week.

How long does it usually take to set a ring? Will I have to leave it there? My other option is going to Jared, they have a large bench jeweler section, and the turnaround is the same day.
