Hi everyone,

Who knew that getting a ring could be so exciting.... I couldn''t be happier! With the guy and the ring of course! Pricescope has been a great place to learn about diamonds! Couldn''t of done it without you guy''s!

Weight 0.65
Round Brilliant
Canadian Diamond

Ideal Cut
SI1
J color, which I love!

Ring size is 4.5

We decided on a tulip setting which I adore! Simple but yet unique... here are the pic''s

Hi everyone,

Thanx so much for your wonderful comments! I''ll be sure to post more pics of the ring... very soon!

Thanks again!

diamond-princess, did you get the diamond and setting from one (2?) of the US e-vendors? I wasn''t shopping for an e-ring. I was just buying a pair of diamond studs for my GF for V-day. I got them from Davidson Designs in West Vancouver. I might have saved a few bucks if I got them from one of the e-vendors but preferred to buy local. If I were buying something more expensive like an ering, I would have driven down to NiceIce to save the 10% luxury tax and 14% sales tax.

Very beautiful ring!

Hi Dobie...

We purchased the diamond and setting from one jeweller, or I should say my fiance did... We didn''t go through an e-vendor, we went with a local jeweller here in Vancouver! I did look at Blue Nile at one piont but... but I really wanted a Canadian diamond and Blue Nile doesn''t carry Canadian Diamond''s.... I do have to say we were quite suprised about the luxury tax! Don''t we pay enough tax?
