Great bra if your dress can''t use a strapless...

I was in a bind because after my seamstress altered my dress, my padded demi strapless would not work. I didn't want to use "petals" so I found this...

http://www.bragel.com/products/nubra_ultra.html

I didn't buy it there (they have them at Macy's). It works PERFECTLY and feels comfortable. They also have silcone/heavier ones, but I liked how these were light and offered coverage, but weren't overly padded. And it does offer support...or at least some cleavage. I think these bras would only work for smaller chested girls...I don't see how it work for/support fuller figures.

woo hoo finally a bra that will work for me too! he he im gonna get me one of these lol!

Interesting that they go up to a D cup. I agree that I don''t think a D could handle a self-adhesive bra, but maybe. How much are they at Macy''s? I like the hook together in the front aspect... "come on girls, get together for cleavage now!"

I think it was $33 at Macy''s....not too bad. I am sure they are online for cheaper, but I wanted to make sure it was the right one and didn''t mind paying a bit more to make sure they were.

I''m a D and I have a similiar bra called the natural bra. It really doesn''t offer any support, but it does give cleavage and some shape.

question for you... can you wear these all day? some of these say you can only wear them for 6 hours or something... but I will be wearing it a lot longer! And how do they look with something other that strapless? I''ll have to do a dress change into a vietnamese dress, and it won''t be as structured as my gown, so I''m worried about them slumping a bit. I was considering not wearing a bra at all, but I don''t want any wardrobe malfunctions ;)... also don''t want to carry around a bra to put on with my 2nd dress.

The natural bra stays on forever. I once slept in it and woke up with it still perfectly in place. If it''s support you need in the second dress, I''d probably look for something else, but if you just want a bit of shape, these bras are a good option.

I think I like it! Thanks for the tip!

I used the NuBra (from Gap Body), and it was perfect -- my dress tended to show a bit more on the right side, so I was able to adjust each cup separately for perfect coverage! Can''t do that with a regular bra!

And another recommendation -- the MiracleSuit for the lower half. I got one that looked like bicycle shorts, so no panty lines, and the top came up way above my waist so it was hidden by the top part of the dress. I had a pair of Spanx "marry me" hose, but you could totally see the waist band with those -- boooo, Spanx!! The MiracleSuit stayed nice and hidden and kept my belly looking good and flat -- and it wasn''t even all that uncomfortable! Got it at Macy''s for about $30, I believe.

One thing to consider with the NuBras (or similar concepts):

If you are anything like me and SWEAT a lot, these bras aren''t as effective. I tend to sweat when nervous, and have had those bras start to unstick on the sides.

They didn''t fall off or anything, but I didn''t wear it for hours on end either.

I know I''ll probably be a lovely, blushing, sweating bride, SO, those bras are out for me.

I didn''t have a problem with sweat loosening the natural bra. I definitely wore it out in the summer to bars and it gets really hot in those places. It never felt like it might fall off though.
