My green sapphire has finally found a home!! The long months of fruitless search for the right setting had been frustrating to say the least, but the final result was very much worth the wait...

Specs: 1.3ct "oval variant" green sapphire faceted by Jeff White, in a size 6 platinum setting by Vatche.

Pictures don''t really do the ring justice...

Some hand shots coming up...

I''m wearing it on my left hand to take photos more easily.

Those of you familiar with Musey''s e-ring will recognize the same Vatche setting. Ever since I saw Musey post her gorgeous asscher e-ring, it immediately became one of my dream settings! I think it also works pretty well with a colored center stone, don''t you agree?

A bit fuzzy, but I like the way the sunlight hits the sapphire in this shot...

It''s cutting like this that distinguishes Jeff White!

Very, very pretty stone and setting. Congratulations.

What a cool cut! I''m afraid I don''t know the story on the sapphire. Where did you find it? I keep looking at the cut because it is so neat.

What does "oval variant" mean? Anyway, it is GORGEOUS! I love green stones, and that one has such a rich color. The setting really displays it well, too. Congrats on a beautiful ring!

It is lovely. I have always loved that setting, and your beautiful green sapphire looks stunning in it.

I''ve always loved that setting, too - and your green sapphire looks AMAZING in it! Congrats!

Oh gosh, it''s so strange to see that setting with a totally different stone!!

It does look GORGEOUS, though... I have a soft spot for green, and I think the antiquey feel of the setting sets off the color of the stone quite well. Beautiful!!
Congratulations!
