I just have to vent for a minute. I have not used eBay in years b/c I was boycotting after I order a garden flag from some guy. He said they were "in stock and would ship in X days". Well, two weeks later he said it was out of stock and he was waiting for the shipment and it could be another few weeks. I said forget it, cancel my order. The guy was a real ass, eBay was not help and the guy wrote snooty stuff about me.

anyway, after that, I said forget it.

Well, now I am in the market for a jewel jet and they have refurbished ones on eBay. I tried to log in and it was a nightmare. The account was blocked, i had to talk to a few people to unblock it. I tired to change my contact info, payment, log into paypal. None of it works and I am so frustrated. I am just forgetting about it. At this point, I''d rather pay an extra $40 for a new one from the manufacturer that deal w/ eBay.

OK, done venting :)

I looked at the ebay ones, but I''d rather just pay the extra for a new one too. I told my husband about it though, and he gave me this look like "What the heck do you need that for!". Hmpf! Pave darling, pave!

I didn''t intend on getting a setting with pave, but that''s what happened anyway. Oh well. Not like I don''t *love* cleaning jewellery anyway.

I''d pay the money for a new one. I saw them on eBay when I was looking for one but I went ahead and bought one for full price.

I really only buy vintage stuff on eBay. If I can get it at a store, why bother dealing with eBay at all?
