Hi ladies!

We are getting down to the wire here...9 more days until we leave Chicago for Edisto Island. STILL no dress....only 7 more business days to get it before we leave !

So to keep my mind off of that and FI''s current health problems, I thought I would post of the stuff that I''ve gotten for the wedding so that I can just focus on the positives

. I hope you don''t mind me sharing

Here is our Guestbook Tree--we will have our guests dip their thumbs in purple and blue ink pads and sign next to their imprint (which will be the leaves). Once again, my FMIL was a life saver and she made this tree for us, for FREE!

Last but not least, bridal bling! We got an amazing deal at the Zales outlet for the set...what we paid was less than 1/7th the retail price at the regular store so that was a great find! We were surprised to learn that they carry the same new and current items at the outlet as the ones at the store...so...look at the outlets if you have one near you! Got the set for $100, at the regular store it was $299 for the earrings and $399 for necklace.

Hope your FI gets better (at least enough to survive the long drive, and enjoy the wedding weekend and honeymoon)! Tons of dust to you regarding your dresses!

Everything looks great! So much fun to see the little details as you come down to the last few days before your wedding. I purchased the same shoes, but in purple! I think you can absolutely wear black shoes with the purple dress. As an alternative, how about bronze or silver? Something strappy?

The jewelery seems like an amazing steal. Very vintage and pretty.

Yes, we plan on putting the tree up in our home. It seemed like something we could actually put up instead of just putting it away in storage like my original plate idea.

The earrings and necklaces have white topaz for the stones. Super sparkly!
