Time is of the essence these days so preparing side dishes shouldn''t take long.
That''s why I have come to know and love the original counterpart of these "Ready Rice" bags by Uncle Ben''s.
All you have to do is tear the corner and "nuke it" for 90 seconds and VOILA! your side is ready!
Since the "original" white rice counterparts aren''t always as healthy, I figured I would give the brown rice a whirl...
Not bad....taste factor is nowhere near the white rice equivalent of this rice but the nutrition benefits far outweigh the slight difference in taste....
I give it 4 HL points
