Hair/makeup trial pics - your opinions?

Hi everyone! Can''t believe I''m only 26 days out. I had my hair/makeup trial yesterday and I guess I have mixed feelings. I totally love the hair, no worries there. My issue is with the makeup. I do wear makeup every day, including eye liner on top/bottom and mascara, eyeshadow, etc. However, I just can''t get used to how much makeup she used in my trial. Everyone there (a few cousins and FMIL) says it looked amazing and that you want/need to wear more makeup on your wedding day than normally, because of pictures. What do you think, is it too much? Please be honest, as my hair/makeup girl is very open to any changes I want. I did tell her that I think the eyeliner is a bit much and I think I may want to do that myself on my wedding day. I am just getting mixed responses because when I got in the car alone with FMIL (who''s opinion I really value as she has great taste) she said "you seriously look perfect, please don''t stress about your eyeliner because I truly would not change it one bit."

Thoughts???? PS - the goal of my hair was a loose yet elegant updo that is meant to not look perfectly in place, and we expect it to slowly fall out over the course of the night.

You look great! It really doesn''t look like a lot of makeup to me at all. I would''ve thought that was an everday look if you didn''t say you had a trial. Nothing stood out to me that your makeup was overboard in anyway.

Personally, I''m used to a bit more (I worked in television) and I can tell you that you will want to pop. It is about the pictures and you don''t want to fade into the background.

Personally, I think you look fabulous and everything has photographed beautifully. That being said, however, if you are uncomfortable, then something needs to change, as the last thing you want to be thinking about on your wedding day is how you feel over-done.

But, I''ll say it again, I think you look seriously gorgeous.

I think you look great...hair and make-up. It doesn''t look like too much make-up in the pics, in fact, it looks really natural. I think a bit more than regular daytime wear is better for pictures, but you have to feel comfortable.

I think the make-up looks great in the photos you posted! It may be put on heavier than you''re used to, but I certainly don''t think it''s "too much". I think the extra make-up will make you look softer in pro-photos.

I agree with everyone else! You look perfectly gorgeous and still very natural. I am not a person who wears much makeup, and I still think it looks very natural! You are going to be a stunning bride!

I would definitely not cut down on the eyeliner--it really makes your eyes pop in photos. You look great!

First of all I love your hair.
No need to apologize for the curls.
You look classic and classy.
Many bridal dos are way too "unconstructed" for my taste.
And end up looking messy.
Or maybe I''m just old and cranky.

Your make up looks quite natural to me, more so than most
whose eye liner, shadow and blush are very visible in pictures.
But as others have said if any part of it bothers you,
don''t do it.
You might try experimenting a bit yourself to see what you
really want.

You look gorgeous, and it doesn''t translate to "too much makeup" in the photos at all, so please don''t stress about how much product you have on your face. It looks simple and classic, and the colors do amazing things for you!

i think you absolutely have to "overdo" your makeup for the sake of your pictures-- it might look like too much to you considering what you''re used to on an average work day, however in the pics you shared it looks totally natural!

I really like your makeup too. It looks natural, with just a touch of enhancement, in the photos, which is exactly what you want - it seems to take a ton of makeup to get that look in pictures!
