Do you style your hair in ways so that your earrings will show? Would love suggestions. 7155C356-7A7A-465D-8D0A-FCBCD7F85363.png

what little styling I do usually means my hair ends up pushed behind by ears, so I guess my earrings do show.

Nope! I have unruly curls, so my earring either peek out, or they don’t :lol-2:

Yup, always; either cut around my ears when I was having a shorter hairstyles, and now with the longer hairstyle short enough on the sides to show the earlobes and earrings.

DK :))

My main hairstyle these days is to keep my hair back off my face.
So my earrings are always visible ❤️

I keep my hair back mostly so that it doesn't bother me during daily activities, but as a side effect it also shows the earrings.

Now, I have long hair. I always wanted long hair and I keep it at the maximum length it will grow to while still being healthy. That's just above the elbows for me. The reality is with length the hair also becomes quite heavy and keeping it up starts to present a challenge.

Cue hair sticks. The single best thing I've ever discovered about hair styling. The buns are quick and easy to do, take only seconds. The sticks are light, they don't add unnecessary weight. The buns are secure and can last all day, even through high activity and sports. The hair isn't pulled tight and as a result barely any's been falling, not to mention your scalp doesn't hurt after a number of hours as it would with a regular bun that's kept in place through about a hundred bobby pins.

Honestly I could not recommend a hair stick more to any woman with mid to long hair. So, so much better than any hair tie or hair clip I've ever had or used. It's the perfect daily driver. Not to mention that when you want your hair down, you simply pull the hair stick out and get that awesome effect of the bun just unfurling down your shoulders that they always make to look so good in movies.

I can’t stand hair in my eyes/face, so mine’s always behind my ears if it’s down, or in a ponytail. Perfect for earrings!

Favorite longtime hairstylist left for Belgium…my daughters and I are up the creek as he was amazing. Best of the best highlights. Have not chopped off hair since prior to COVID as he discouraged anything shorter based on my hair texture and looks. My hair is at mid chest and needs some layers but friends and family like the long hair. one length is easier than layers with natural wavy hair. So a lot of clips, ponytails. i have to work on it to wear it down.I really want to get layers and cathedral bangs but fave/ former stylist said nope, not going to work! I am so stuck!

I found a short pixie cut picture from Covid times when I took a picture of my earrings. Oh my word NO. I shall never have short hair again. That was cruelly unflattering.

Going to ponytail or ear tuck.

My hair almost always covers my ears unless I put it up in a bun or braid. Don't care whether my earring show or are hidden.

That is exactly how I feel too. Though I am so tempted just to cut my hair and be done with it. One day I just might. Looks be darned :wink2:

Haha last time I had short hair...I look like a boy (not that there is anything wrong with that but I don't care for the look on me)

You were so cute! Aweeee.

I always consider hairstyle and earrings together.
My hair is long now, almost to my elbows.
I call it COVID hair.
I couldn't get to the stylist for a while, it started to get long, and I liked it.
If I'm going with a ponytail, bun or braid I always wear showier earrings like bigger hoops or dangles.

I need one of these! My hair is heavy and straight. I tried a metal item like this, but it just kept slipping out, even though I tried to anchor it close to my scalp.
It looks like wood will hold better.

Oh yes, all of mine are wooden. It also depends on the bun you're trying to do. There are different types for different hair lengths and I've found some to be steadier than others.

My favourite one, the one in the picture, which is also the most secure one I've tried, is this one:
(drop-dead gorgeous hair alert, beware of becoming permanently green with envy!)

I just buzzcut my hair, and my DH's.

Fast, simple, cheap.
