This all started because I was debating about replacing the side stones in this ring and Bron had that mega stash she found so....

Yes I agree they just look so vivid. Are the sizes good?

I think the tanzanite are 2mm if they won't work then there are some smaller purplish pink tourmaline that would work. The rubelite are the largest. These are really the first loose stones I've ever owned apart from a pink spinel I got at a gem show a year back.

There is a wonderful jewelry studio near me and I've taken several classes. I want to take the stone setting class next. I have a few loose CZs to practice on, but my dream is to make a real ring with a real gem by myself.
