Anyone been to either theme park? Which would be the better one for a just-turned 2 year old and a soon to be 4 year old?

Haven't been since I was a kid, but I would definitely vote Sesame Place!! I just remember thinking it was so cool to see characters that I loved so much on TV. I know I went to Dutch Wonderland but I have no memories of it at all. We mostly did Hershey, which has lots of kiddie rides and some slow rides that kids can go on with adults, or Sesame Place. But again, no recent experiences, just my own childhood memories.

I have never been to Dutch Wonderland, but we just went to Sesame Place last year. My son was a little over two years old at the time and he had a blast! The park isn't too big so you can go at a leisurely pace. The water park was fun and a great place to cool off. All of the rides allow the adult to go on with the child which was a huge plus for me. The shows there were awesome and gave my son a little time to relax and take a break from the park. He loved seeing Elmo Live! I think given the ages of your children they would really enjoy Sesame! Any questions send them my way!

I live near Sesame Place and I just want to let you know that it is on the perimeter of the Oxford Valley Mall, right off of Rte. 1. Sesame Place is always busy and crowded. A very popular place. My DD has many friends who work there during the summer and they enjoy it very much. The parking lots fill up very quickly and many park at the mall (for free) and walk over. Knowing what I do, DD has never been to Sesame Place. I don't feel it is the cleanest or most sanitary amusement park around. According to what I have heard (from people who work there) the lines are long. It is mainly a water park.Other than Build a Bear in the mall nothing else for a 2 year old to do unless you venture to Lahaska, PA and go to Giggleberry Fair (about 20 minutes from there).

If I had to choose, I would pick Dutch Wonderland, only because it is out in Lancaster County and I love Lancaster County. I have heard great things about this park and sorry never took DD there when she was little (well maybe I'll take the grandkids someday). Don't know what else there is for a 2 year old to do (besides Hershey Park - not really rides for 2 year olds).
