Has anyone seen the Cartier Ballerine eternity band in real life?

For the life of me I cannot seem to get a straight answer on the Cartier Ballerine Diamond band. I see that the diamonds are bead set but I cannot get anyone to tell me, confidently, if the channel on the ring is decor only or if it gives the diamonds an added layer of security/protection.

I’m looking for a true channel set but I do very much like the look of the Ballerine. I just want that channel set stone security.
Thanks!!

I just looked up pictures of the band. It does not appear that the channels touch the diamonds. However, I am sure the bead set diamonds are secure. You could always return it to Cartier if you lost a stone. Insurance on jewelry also gives you some peace of mind regarding any loss.

Pictures or links to the ring would help.

Here you go for others wanting to see...

I would consider bead-set safer than channel-set. After looking at the ring (my opinion), the channels are decorative BUT also
provide another level of protection against the stones/prongs/beads getting hit or damaged. So, to answer your question, I
think it does both. It does not hold the stones in but does provide protection of the stones/prongs/beads. You would also be
able to wear this next to an engagement ring without it eating into the e-ring since the side rails cover the edge of the diamonds.

Good combination IMO.
