Hello again! This dress shopping thing is so fun, but frustrating for me at the same time! When I started out, I really thought everything would look horrible on me so I wasn''t expecting much. But I''ve found out that wedding dresses (well some of them) can be quite flattering... I wish I could wear one everyday! LOL So I came across this dress and I swear, I don''t need another dress to be "in love with"! I already have a couple that I adore!! Oh but this one.... I think it is so beautiful. *sigh* It has that fuller skirt I''m looking for (only with a few pickups though), and really beautiful lace. I tried to track it down and no one carries it in my area!

And I''m from Portland, OR and I thought for sure that SOMEONE would have it. I found a store close to Seattle, but that''s about 3 hours away. I may have to take a roadtrip here real soon!

Has anyone seen this in person? Or better yet, tried it on and has pics?!

Chelle,

I''m not sure if you checked the "store locator", but there are 4 in Portland that carry Jasmine...(if you did, ignore the link below!).

Jasmine Bridal OR

Thank you Ebree! That was so sweet of you!

I actually called all the shops in Portland that carry Jasmine, but they only carry certain lines of Jasmine, none carried Jasmine Haute Couture.... well, no, I''m mistaken.... ONE carried the Couture line, but the owner said that she decided not to carry the new Spring 2006 Collection, which is where that dress is from. Urgh! I really want to try it on!

I figured you had! I just wanted to make sure. It's a very pretty gown (and I'm not usually a pick-up fan, but this one's different!) and if you've tried on similar (and liked the way they looked), I think a road trip's in order. Plus, if you decide it's the one, several discount websites sell it new for much less than salons will charge!

I wish!

Hey Ebree how did you know about the websites having that dress? Have you had any experience with using discount websites? I've never heard of them, but when I was searching for the Jasmine dress, a website popped up and they were selling it for about $400 less! I thought it was a scam or something? LOL If anyone could tell me anything about these discout sites, that'd be great... I guess I'm just a little unsure about what they are and how they work?

Thank you!

P.S. Did anyone notice how skinny the model's arms are??

Yikes. Yeah mine would look nothing like that! haha

Oh, it is a gorgeous dress!!! Sounds like a roadtrip is definitely in order!!

I know there are some with great reviews, and I believe they're able to sell them for so cheap because they don't have to pay certain overheads. I figure they're kind of like the PS vendors VS. BMs (bridal salons). Just make sure you review them before buying (BBB!)...I know one reputable online store is www.pearlsplace.com (sorry, I tried linking it but it wouldn't work!).

That dress is amazing. Not simple or understated, but for the right wedding and setting, FAB. Her arms, by the way, look like they were sculpted with a photo shop program to me!!!
